Destination Moon: More Missions, More Science
Where:
St Peter’s Eastern Hill, 15 Gisborne St, East Melbourne

St Peter’s Eastern Hill will be recognising science week with an event involving a service, afternoon tea, and a discussion on the theme of science week for 2019 – namely, “Destination Moon: More Missions, More Science”. Our Executive Director, Chris Mulherin, will be preaching at the services at 9.30 and 11 a.m.

The discussion will look at some questions raised by the topic, such as:

  • Why should we go to the moon in the first place?
  • Shouldn’t we clean up on Earth first?
  • What if we find signs of intelligent life from there (or beyond)? How does this affect our Christian faith

Victorian ISCASTians have been invited to join the St Peter’s congregation at 9.30 or 11 a.m., and/or come along to the discussion at 12:30.
