Event: 'Interstellar': Film & Theology

Time: Meet at the box office at 8:15pm
Venue: Peninsula Cinemas (Cinema Arcade, Victoria St, Warragul)
Cost: $10 for pre-reserved tickets, $15 at the door on the night

Synopsis: "With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history; traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars."

Interstellar is the upcoming science fiction epic by acclaimed director Christopher Nolan. Its premise incorporates cutting-edge physics based on the work of noted astrophysicist Kip Thorne.

The evening will include a screening of the movie followed by a short talk in the cinema about the film's theological and scientific themes by aerospace engineer and sci-fi enthusiast James Garth.
